Includes music from the collections of Arnold Janser and Emil K. Janser, Collins’ childhood cello teacher in Springfield, MA.

Biographical Note

Robert Chapin Collins (1920-1983) was a professor of music at the University of Maine, a principal cellist of the Bangor Symphony Orchestra, and a composer. Collins conducted the Bangor Band from 1978-1983.
