Biographical Note
Bernice and John Hart of Holden, Maine, were the parents of Gerald Hart. Gerald Hart (1917-1998) was a trumpeter and electrical engineer. He joined the Bangor Symphony Orchestra as a young musician in the 1930s. Hart graduated from Bangor High School in 1934 and the University of Maine in 1938. He served in the Navy during World War II and worked at Bangor Hydro Electric Company from 1939 to 1984.
