Historical Note
The Bangor High School Music Parents' Association was organized in 1949 as the Parents' Musical Association. Its purpose was to support the music programs at Bangor High School. Activities included raising money for transporation to the All-State Music Festival; purchasing equipment, music, and uniforms; organizing exchange concerts and the All-City Music Festival; and sponsoring an annual awards banquet.
