Pocket diaries kept by Origen Fuller of LaGrange, Maine. Fuller was a farmer who also worked as an undertaker and performed other jobs in the community. Fuller's brief entries note the weather, his farm and work activities (including the burials performed), and financial transactions. Some diaries contain additional materials such as receipts, notes, and undertaker's vouchers.

Biographical / Historical
Origen Fuller (1829-1911) of LaGrange, Maine, was a farmer and undertaker. He was born on March 15, 1829 to Orrin and Mary (Hobbs) Fuller. He married Priscilla Henderson on November 1, 1854. They had two children, Mary and Alice. Fuller served as LaGrange town clerk and was a member of the Dirigo Lodge (Independent Order of Odd Fellows) in Milo.
