Biographical Note
June Lowell Bright (1885-1932) was a music journalist from Bangor, Maine. The daughter of Nellie C. and Joseph M. Bright, she graduated from Bangor High School and Dean Academy in Franklin, Massachusetts. Bright was special representative for Musical America, a classical music magazine, for 14 years. During this time she reported on the Maine Music Festival and other musical events in Bangor. Bright was also a member of the Norumbega Club and active in the work of the Y.W.C.A.
