This collection consists of the contents of a time capsule that was laid in the cornerstone of the Bangor YMCA building on September 1, 1890. The time capsule was discovered in August 1969 when the original YMCA building, designed by architect Wilfred E. Mansur, was demolished to make way for new construction. The collection includes lists of YMCA members and contributors to the building fund, annual reports for local organizations, copies of Bangor newspapers and YMCA publications,...
