Drawing books, loose sketches, and photograph albums created by Walter L. Head of Bangor, Maine. The drawings and sketches feature landscapes and waterfront scenes of Bangor in the late 19th century including houses, ships, and people. The photograph albums are primarily of Islesford, Maine, featuring coastal scenes, sailboats, and family members. A booklet of drawings titled "Panorama of the War" contains illustrations representing Fort Sumpter, Bull Run, and Great Bethel. Some drawings may be by Walter L. Head's father, Daniel B. Head.
