Biographical Note
Charles Eugene Tefft (1874-1951) was an American sculptor born in Brewer, Maine. Tefft created several Bangor statues and memorials including Hannibal Hamlin and Victory in the Norumbega Parkway, the River Drivers in Peirce Memorial Park, and the Memorial Fountain in Summit Park.
