Scope and Contents The JoAnne Dauphinee papers include scrapbooks, political memorabilia, newspaper clippings, correspondence, and other ephemera. The papers document Dauphinee’s activism and volunteer work within the Greater Bangor community with Maine NOW (National Organization for Women), ERA (Equal Rights Amendment), the Peace and Justice Center of Eastern Maine, Fat Liberation, NAACP, AFL-CIO, the Mabel Wadsworth Center, and local and national 20th-century political campaigns and elections.
